How it works
Every category page has two parts. One sponsored slot, which is sold. One community ranking, which is not. Money moves the first and never touches the second.
The two layers
01- The featured placement is sponsored. It goes to the highest bid in that category, it is labeled on every page it appears, and that is the only thing a payment buys.
- The community ranking is earned. It is ordered by votes first and click volume second. Bids are not part of the calculation at any point.
- A tool that pays for the featured slot still appears in the community ranking at the position its votes and clicks earned, marked as the sponsor. Paying does not move it up that list by a single place.
- The homepage has one champion, which is simply the highest bid anywhere on the site.
What a bid costs
02- New listings are whole US dollars, $5 minimum, $999,999 maximum, $1 at a time.
- Taking a featured slot costs at least $5 more than the bid holding it. Paying less still lists you, it just does not take the slot.
- Equal bids stay in the order they were placed. The older bid keeps the slot.
- Enter the same tool again to raise it. The new bid must be at least $1 above your current bid, and you only pay the difference. Nobody else can take your position by paying that difference.
- Bids are per category. Being featured in one category has no effect on any other, so a tool can hold several slots by bidding on each.
What you can list
03- A product website, or an X handle.
- Chat and invite links are not allowed: Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and similar. This is a directory of tools and profiles, not group chats.
- Links to sexual content are not allowed. If it is porn, NSFW, or an adult platform, it does not belong here.
- Query parameters are stripped from the listing itself, so affiliate, referral and tracking URLs cannot be used to list the same tool twice.
- Link shorteners are not allowed. If you submit one it is replaced by the URL it redirects to.
- App Store, Play Store, GitHub and similar platform links are keyed by their path, so different apps do not share one listing.
Votes and clicks
04- One vote per person per tool. Repeat votes are ignored, not counted twice.
- Clicks are counted when somebody opens a tool from here. They are the tie breaker between listings with the same number of votes.
- Some outbound links carry an affiliate parameter. That earns us a commission if you sign up, and it has no effect on any ranking on this site.
After you pay
05- A settled payment is what claims a slot. Your listing appears as soon as the payment notification arrives.
- You pick your category when you submit. If it ends up in the wrong one, get in touch to have it moved.
- Placements are non-refundable. A refunded payment is removed from your bid total, which drops your placement accordingly.
- Anything breaking these rules is removed without a refund.
